L’arredamento non è sempre una cosa statica, cambia e si
modifica in funzione delle necessità della famiglia.
Specialmente nelle camere dei bambini, ormai lo sapete,
ho preferito mobili riutilizzati/rinnovati e pezzi low cost quasi tutti di Ikea. Per la camera del più grande, che a settembre
andrà alle superiori, era arrivata l’ora di un nuovo aggiornamento (il terzo).
The furniture is not
always a static thing, it changes and can be modified according to the family
needs.
Especially in
children’s rooms, you know I preferred repurposed/ renovated furniture and low
cost pieces, almost all of Ikea. For my older son, who in September will go to
high school, it was time for a new bedroom update (the third one).
Ho venduto il tavolo melltorp che faceva da scrivania, e
la libreria expedit. Ho girato il letto, aggiunto delle barre (sunnersta) per
appendere le medaglie al muro più basso, e acquistato altri mobili usati, ma
dovrei dire seminuovi: ampia scrivania con cassettiera, 3 librerie billy da
40cm e un comodino kullen.
Il mercato dei mobili Ikea usati è cresciuto molto, tanto
che la stessa Ikea li ritira col servizio “Riporta e rivendi”: l’avete provato?
Potete farvi valutare anche online i mobili, consegnarli montati e ricevere un
buono. Io non ne ho avuto bisogno perché ho trovato subito qualcuno che li ha
voluti, ma mi pare interessante.

I sold the melltorp
desk and the expedit bookcase. I turned the bed, added some bars (sunnersta) to
hang the medals on the lower wall, and bought other used furniture, but I
should say semi-new: a large desk with chest of drawers, 3 bookcases billy 40cm
and a nightstand Kullen.
The market for used
Ikea furniture has grown a lot, so that the same Ikea collects them with the
service "Bring back and resell": have you tried it? You can also have
your furniture evaluated online, deliver it assembled and receive a voucher. I
didn’t need it because I found someone who wanted them right away, but I think
it’s interesting.
Mio
figlio voleva una scrivania GRANDE, da adibire in parte al pc e accessori vari,
e in parte allo studio/disegno tecnico. Questa è robusta e stabile. La
cassettiera serviva proprio !
La
libreria ha raddoppiato lo spazio rispetto alla expedit, è pronta ad accogliere
nuovi libri e quaderni.
Il
comodino è il primo che lui abbia mai avuto! Valuteremo se dipingere di bianco
il fronte dei cassetti per legare di più con la libreria.
La
sedia da manager aveva bisogno solo di una spazzolata, era stata usata davvero
poco, ho sostituito le rotelle con un tipo adatto al parquet in legno (grazie
ad amazon che a volte ti evita di girare alla ricerca di qualcosa che non
troveresti facilmente).
Cosa ve
ne pare? Avevo ipotizzato di acquistare tutti i mobili aggiunti, nuovi e
bianchi, per una spesa totale di circa 300 euro (sempre prendendo come
riferimento i prezzi Ikea) e invece con un piccolo compromesso sui colori ne ho
spesi la metà! Per me ne è valsa la pena, perché non è detto che nemmeno
questa sia la soluzione eterna di arredamento.
My son wanted a BIG
desk, to be used partially for pc and various accessories, and partially to study/
technical drawing. This one is sturdy and stable. The chest of drawers was
really needed!
The bookcase has
doubled the space compared to the expedit, is ready to welcome new books and
notebooks.
The nightstand is the
first one he has ever had! We will evaluate whether to paint white the front of
the drawers to tie more with the bookcase.
The manager’s chair
only needed a brush, it had been used very little, I replaced the wheels with a
type suitable for wooden parquet (thanks to amazon that sometimes avoids you to
run looking for something you would not find easily).
What do you think? I
had assumed to buy new and white all the added furniture, for a total expense
of approximately 300 euros (always taking as reference the Ikea prices)
and instead with a small compromise on the colors I spent half! For me
it was worth it, because it is not sure that this is the eternal solution of
furniture.
