economiche per il mobile del salotto, ora
vi mostro il mio prima e dopo !

In the last post I’ve described some cheap tv
stands, today I show you my before and
after !
1 colore
chiaro possibilmente bianco. La mansarda è ricca di legno sui toni del
ciliegio, dal parquet alle travi del tetto fino alla mensola del camino e ai
serramenti. Continuo ad amare queste finiture, ma unite alla poca luce e al
mobile precedente l’effetto era troppo pesante. Troppo legno, troppo buio.
Quindi benvenuto bianco, non trovo adatto al mio stile il laccato lucido, mi
piacciono le venature del legno in bianco opaco, ma mi hanno conquistato le
ante Besta Vassviken perchè hanno un disegno originale, il nido d’ape, e perchè
se mi dovessi stancare si possono facilmente sostituire con altre ante Besta o
con delle ante su misura.
2 non
troppo basso, lineare e capiente. Le composizioni e le pareti attrezzate
dei salotti moderni sono spesso molto basse, e poco profonde (anche la serie
Besta fa solo 40 cm di profondità). Come piano di appoggio per la tv mi
sembrano scomodi, e come elementi contenitori, scarsi. La mia parete segue la falda del tetto,
volevo un unico blocco lineare, semplice, con anta intera ma tanti cassetti
interni profondi.
3 una
superfice uniforme e liscia, facile da pulire e con spazio per le mie
cornici in argento. Sopra il componibile
avevo valutato di mettere un top di marmo come quello del camino, ma ho scelto poi
un vetro verniciato bianco, che deve ancora arrivare.
4 una
vetrina per tenere gli apparecchi come lettore dvd, videoregistratore e accessori
lontani dalla polvere.
5 niente
cavi in vista, pensavo di appendere la tv e usare un pannello per coprirli,
ma non è stato necessario, la tv ha due utilissimi piedini raccogli cavi,
quindi non si vedono, e in appoggio lo schermo è all’altezza perfetta da terra
per me (circa 70cm). Nella vetrina ho forato la schiena in corrispondenza di
ogni ripiano per il passaggio cavi.
6 molti
cassetti, anche se nascosti dall’anta unica, cassetti estraibili sono
indispensabili per sfruttare bene lo spazio interno e avere facile accesso a
tutto quello che c’è dentro.
Nella parte sinistra ci sono due cassettoni bassi che si
aprono spingendo l’anta/frontale cassetto, ho dato loro volutamente una grande
capienza per contenere cuscini, plaid e giochi, più in alto ho aggiunto cestelli
estraibili per le cassette vhs.
Nell’ultimo scomparto, a
destra della vetrina, l’anta è fissata con cerniere e dentro ci sono 3 cestelli
estraibili per moltiplicare lo spazio, qui infatti metterò solo dvd!

My ideal solution should have:
1 bright
colors, better if white. My attic is rich in warm cherry tree wood tones, from
floors to ceiling beams, from fireplace mantel to windows and doors. I still
love those finishes, but lack of light + old furniture gave as result a too
dark effect. So welcome Mr. White, I
think gloss white does not suit my style, I like matt white woodgrain, but Besta
Vassviken doors hit me with their honeycomb, if I will be tired of it I can
replace them with any Besta door or custom-made doors.
2 not
too low, linear and roomy look. Modern furniture combinations and stands
are often too low, and narrow (even Besta line is only 40 cm depth). Those ones
keep the TV under the right height and those narrow drawers are not enough for
my stuff. My TV wall is under the roof
slope, I wished for a simple, linear stand with entire doors and many deep
inner drawers.
3 a
flat uniform top surface, easy to clean and ready for my several silver
frames. I supposed to use a marble top similar to the fireplace one, but
finally I prefer a white painted custom-made glass, which is not arrived yet.
4 a
glass cabinet to keep electronic devices far from dust.
5 no
visible cables, to hide the cables I thought to hang the TV on the wall and
to use a panel to hide them, but the new TV has place to hide the cables inside
its feet, and on the stand top it is at the right height for me ( 70cm). In the
glass cabinet back I made holes behind each shelf to let the cables exit.
6 many
drawers, hidden behind the doors, extractable drawers are necessary to fill
all the inner space with my stuff, and to have easy access.
On the left part of
the stand there are 2 low big drawers that open pushing the door/drawer front,
I prefer to leave them more capacity for pillows, blankets and games, then I add
2 upper extractable metal drawers for VHS collection.
On the last unit, right from
the glass cabinet, the door has hinges and inside there are 3 extractable metal
drawers to store only DVD discs!
Non ho saputo resistere alla tentazione di questo tessuto con il nido d’ape e ho rifatto anche le tende!

I could not resist to
this honeycomb fabric, so I’ve renovated the curtains too!

che il lavoro sia finito ma in realtà mancano ancora:

bianco di vetro su misura

scegliere cosa mettere sulla parete sopra la tv: cubotti? mensole? vetrinetta? O un mix di
questi?

It seems to be completed, but a few things are still
to do:
1 custom made, white
painted glass top; already ordered
2 what should I hang
on the wall over the TV? Open shelves?
Cube shelves? Glass cabinet?
3 new lamps
